So Hiryuu's first impressions of Loki were that he was FUSSY. My goodness. So much upset over some unspiced chicken??? Why was that something to complain about? She still thinks that he's kind of fussy and a little on the moody side, after all, he WOULDN'T ACCEPT THE INCE
STNCE!??! But. She is also fond of him an kind of concerned. What kind of life have you been living up until now Loki? Is your desire for seasoned chicken and nice things due to a life of austerity underneath a master who was too busy with his books? what happened to u. She has not actually examined it in her head, but being picked on by him is an oddly satisfying part of their relationship. IT'S INFURIATING, but also, she weirdly enjoys it. She thinks Loki is a good boy but kind of thinks that perhaps his kindness is a general thing and that maybe on a more specific level, she actually annoys him/he has some problems with her? That must be why they bicker!!! She would be very shocked to know he was picking fights with people over targeting HSS because it's her team. Loki how whyOH YEAH. I meant to mention before. She was PARTIALLY aware at the time that some of SensitIV's Live had to have been faked/that they weren't that upset. She knew they were out for points the same as anyone and the role they'd been assigned was not good. But she has difficulties sometimes remembering that... like... there is always this sort of question hanging among them as to how much is real, and how much is fake, and when it comes down to it she would much rather air on the side of caution and try to address fears. Moost of what she told Loki that morning was a bunch of really brave-sounding BS. Or rather, that is--those were the things that she WANTED to say, WANTED to be true/make true.... but also was like "hahaha these are the words of comfort I can attempt to offer.... but I'm just a weak and useless person...." She really wants to understand what it was after/during that incident that has made him so uncomfortable, but she actually hasn't fully picked up on the thought that it's. her? in relation to that. because in her mind, since no one was hurt, no one did anything wrong. /shruggo
Current goal: punch loki just once. also make loki praise her cooking moar.

Honestly Hiryuu is like.... Loki is convinced she may in fact be The Kindest Person In The World at this point. Especially after... the ear thing... lord. He feels awful about it and Hiryuu being kind and understanding about it just makes it worse. We haven't had a thread after that thread yet but I can pretty much guarantee he's going to go right back to awkward and fussy about her being nice to him again. It's not quite as bad as it would be if he still remembered anything about his past but... The thing about Hiryuu, and this plays back to the BEDE live thing too, is her selflessness is completely foreign to him. It's not really something he possesses in spades, and during the BEDE live most people were well aware and very vocal about how selfish sensitIV was being but from his point of view they were doing the exact same thing. Conducting a live with the excuse of "it's to make people feel better about their situation", but in the end a live was still called for the event. So to him everyone else was being hypocrites for calling sensitIV out on their live, but then Hiryuu just... almost immediately started expressing empathy for him and his unit and he just was struck with this sense of guilt because she's just. Way more empathetic and selfless than he is.
Of course her being that way kind of kicked him into gear to care about HSS more as a whole, at least as an extension of Hiryuu. But then he fucked up. He fucked up so bad. 8(
He also just like, in his opinion Everyone Should Care About Not Hurting HSS but he just assumes that 1. everyone else is on his level of being kind of a shitty person, and 2. that everyone else has also been unfairly victimized by at least Hiryuu. HSS is 2good, 2pure, why would you EVER ATTACK THEM. (then he learned that WC were just randomly attacking anyone and he's like AH I SEE YOU ARE MOTHERFUCKER?)
Anyways when he's NOT being an emotional self-loathing dumbass and he's just casually interacting with Hiryuu he has a lot of fun. He loves teasing her, she's very cute. Very easily riled it's the best. There's also a few moments of [doki holy shit she's so beautiful and amazing] like when he saw her memory, but then he had to IMMEDIATELY assert his dominance again by teasing her. It's dangerous if Hiryuu knows he got a crush for like 2 seconds okay.
oh goal?: right now just protect Hiryuu ahahahahahaha which might prove impossible because ultimately he will still prioritize sensitIV.....

It's definitely dangerous to get a crush on her tho. ganba loki, ganba

Hiryuu thinks that Mori is a very cute, sweet, and sort of quiet boy. She was VERY SURPRISED to see him grilling Boss the way he did, because her impression of him up until then.... it wasn't that she didn't think he had no backbone or wouldn't stand up for himself? But she'd never seen him like that before. He went from 0 to 80; IT WAS A SHOCKER!!! When Mori wants to he comes out swinging.
I think so far she hasn't made the connection yet that Mori's "quirk" means he's a superhero with superpowers. So at the moment, she sees Mori as closer to herself in terms of like... being a more-or-less normal person (as opposed to say Spidey who can shoot webs and is a bonefide hero, or Wire whom she is quite certain must be a soldier/who has now professed to being a TIME TRAVELER). So although they don't know each other super duper well, she felt like she has something in common with him, and she also felt like he has her back and sees something in her, which she really appreciates. And that was before he suggested they all go camping/live in the abandoned building just so she would have an easier time, so... uhm... yes. Hiryuu feels very tight with Mori and appreciates him; what a GOOD BROTHER.

Okay but seriously. SHUTEN. It's. hahaha. Okay SO first she got off on the wrong foot with him. But he was totally willing to just let her be mean and rude to him? So of course then she... couldn't. Because that's not really who she is. So at first being nice to him was sort of about "I was horrible, I need to make up for that, because he's a good person!" And then she saw his memory. And she. SHE!!!!!! I mean look she was legit upset about this whole situation in the first place but that was fucking salt in the wound or spit in her eye piss in her cheerios and FUCK IT. NO. FUCK! THESE! PRODUCERS!!!!! She really 10000% meant it when she said she's going to find a way to destroy this place. She's not sure what it it's going to take but honestly like. ....... at least based on the level of feels, she'd be willing to sacrifice herself to do it, sorry not sorry.
She is under the impression that Shuten is very terribly upset/messed up over all of the things that have happened lately, WHICH I DON'T THINK IS WRONG, but she also doesn't... know... a great deal of what he's been up to (or what he's like really) and his coping mechanisms? But she is actually fairly deeply worried because she's visited his dorms twice now and she hasn't seen him and the last two times she saw him he was 1) getting back a traumatic memory and 2)being ripped apart so just like. HIGHKEY, WHERE IS SHUTEN, IS SHUTEN OKAY. She just. She wants to take care of and protect this man??? Because it seems like NOBODY HAS, SOMEBODY NEEDS TO PRIORITIZE AND CARE ABOUT THIS MAN!!! It's not even in a romantic sense (yyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttttttttt? it could happen idk WHAT WILL HAPPEN, STAY TUNED,) but just. Protec. Just by himself he's made TRR an incredibly high priority to her.
Expect her to send him a text ASAP (and by asap I mean like. as soon as I can wrangle you into it) requesting he meet her so she can feed him. She's learning to cook and she wants to make chicken soup for him because it's supposed to be her favorite meal and she wants to share it with him and please be okay shuten. Since she's under the impression that he's been sick though and has little to no confidence in her cooking yet, I suspect that she may actually buy him a meal instead of cooking it (perhaps after some failed attempts...) because she wants him to actually eat something good for him and that tastes good and ISN'T CRAP because everyone else is healthy but shuten keeps having a bad time so shuten deserves better things to make up for it.
Other things I forgot to mention, but in her loopy daze she told Oni that she specifically intends to break this place for him. everyone else she's just like "i'm going to tear it apart" but oni is the only one who knows why.
Iiii am really looking forward to like. how their interactions and what she knows about him shapes/informs memory regains and how all that goes. Like, popcorning so intensely, you've no idea. I have suspicions and thoughts but because memloss games are SO UNPREDICtABLE and can RADICALLY CHANGE in the blink of an eye, I won't actually give them unless you ask for them but I think about these things... a lot....
Goals: don't let shuten ever see her crying or depressed or stressed out again, be strong for shuten, #saveshuten

She really doesn't know much about Ardashir because he doesn't talk about himself very much (and well. he doesn't know much about himself either so how could he) but she knows that he is 1) generally very kind to her and 2) very handsome. And uhm. Hm. On some level she is basically experiencing a minor crush on him much for similar reasons that she originally fell for Soo-Won IN THAT he is kind to her and thoughtful. It's a much lighter thing than that though and she is not even at a point of like. being able to conceptualize it as "this is why my heart beats a bit faster." She's a very innocent girl, it took her over 150 chapters to figure out she was in love with hak, and she's very stupid unless you're horrifically direct, and I MEAN HORIFFICALLY DIRECT, so like. yes.
On the other hand, she has also not forgotten that moment when he was so sharp with her after Game 1. She's not quite sure how to like. Uhm. Man the word I'm looking for is escaping me. Not justify but rectify I think. She's having trouble rectifying that stern and like. Frankly cold aspect of him with the softness and warmness that she is more familiar with him presenting. I kind of think it's neat and interesting in that... I think he WILL remind her of Soo-Won and I wonder if it won't impact the way she takes her memories of him? Specifically, I wonder if it might give her any kind of sense that maybe Soo-Won also has a cold side to him. MOST PROBABLY NOT since we don't really see it except after the Big Reveal but then u never know.
It's. So laughably terrible that this is her taste in men because he could in theory have quite a bit of leeway in manipulating her, if he wanted to, for a long time possibly. She wants to impress him so she would probably go very far for him so that's. Hm. A thing. She does in fact want to cook for him like she said before but now that he's said he wants to try her cooking she's terrified because SHE'S JUST A BEGINNER, SHE NEARLY SET THE BUILDING ON FIRE USING THE ELECTRIC STOVE THE FIRST TIME. BUT IT HAS TO BE PERFECT FOR HIM BECAUSE IT HAS TO BE.
why isn't hak here to be her convenient taste tester, someone help her.goals: don't make a fool of herself in front of ardashir

Hiryuu is easily one of his favorite people in imeeji atm
she's very personable and proactive! and while he has noticed that she's sheltered/naive in some ways, he also thinks she's very clever and appreciates that she's also a person who at least somewhat prioritizes the results over the methods. he absolutely thinks she undervalues herself which... you know... he's not great about expressing... but in her case especially it's because he thinks she's obviously fucking great and he doesn't really get what would make her think otherwise. if at any point he ever comes under the impression that he can blame an external target for her poor self-esteem then he'll get REAL nasty about it sometimes. moreso in his head.
anyway he likes working with her and wants to support her (which he is unfortunately awful at). he will probably also get increasingly touchy from here.
WHO ARE HIRYUU'S FAVORITE UNITS IN IMEEJI RANK THEM FOR ME
no subject
I look... forward... then... to him seeing more of her memories in the future. Because it does fairly clear how and why and (to some degree, from whom) her issues of self-worth come from. (It's not an uncomplicated issue. But.) I look forward, too, to seeing how and why he gets touchy.
FAVORITE UNITS OKAY. I'm assuming that her own unit is excluded from this listing--because honestly it's just plain unfair to stack up the others against her fam.
1. Taisho - generally charismatic and if not strictly speaking personable thennn certainly refined, offered her free use of their dorm/have a pattern of being generous, dokis for ardashir and Person She Must Protec (Shuten) and ALSO like. She always gets the sense when talking with Okami, Shuten, and Ardashir that she is not being talked down to? idk it's hard for me to put in words but she feels like there's a 'space at the table' for her, so to speak. She doesn't really know/is neutral with Maki and it's only Kuzuebiko that she is really Uncertain about.
2. Bad End=Dead End - she gets along SO WELL with the rebels as far as their goals/mindsets super aligning, honestly it's a stiff battle with Taisho for that number one spot.
3. AlcheMe - the liarboys are really hard to get to know but she basically thinks of B.E. as her best friend currently.
4. SensitIV - mixed feelings here. her friendship with loki is weird but she likes him a lot? And she thinks Lucifel is a nice man and Bakura also seems okay? But they also seem... hm. She can't tell if it's the acting or not but she has a sense that maybe they are Not Entirely Stable, or like, most specifically she is not certain about BLANK's stability, so like, she wants to keep on good terms with them (which she knows logically is smart anyway, being the healing team) but she is also sort of wondering if this won't be the first team to have a very serious breakdown.... Also, Okami did raise a valid point that this team appeared to be playing to win, and while she.... doesn't hold any animosity about that (yet) she also cannot entirely overlook it. It's Complicated.
5. avante en garde - this team feels like it's made up of largely sensible people though she doesn't know them super well just yet. She was just a bit uncertain about Cardigan as their leader but they managed to redeem themselves by chilling out without drawing any blood.
6. Future is now, WILD CITY, and ☆ZRAEL - They're all tied because honestly, she doesn't know any of these teams very well / at all. However, she did notice that of all the teams present in Game 2 they were the ones that neither took any damage nor appeared to be particularly sorry about it. (or, rather, took note of that later; she was pretty out of it at the time.) That's not necessarily to say that she resents them or holds a grudge against them, it's not that strong of a feeling, but it made her a bit wary in the sense that she can't help but maybe there is some underlying, fundamental difference in the way these teams think than the others, and that these might be teams they'll need to watch out for later on.
.... also shit I keep saying team when I mean unit, oops.

I keep saying "got off on the wrong foot" or "didn't know what to make of at first" but apparently this seems to be a way of making the closest CR to her?? xD idk. She wasn't sure what to make of him first, LAUGHING AT HER and then giving her such a sharp.. look... and rebuke. But once she stopped being so prickly and defensive, things fell into place.
Out of everyone on AlcheMe, she is definitely the closest to BE. Like. There's a lot of joking about the two groups being family and while she does find everyone on AlcheMe as a whole to be likable, she doesn't know them well enough to qualify for a title as close as "brother" or "father," but in B.E.'s case, I'd say she would be willing to say he is like a brother. And I think it's because, yeah, he's a believable liarface but also he's at the same time very genuine? I'm really not sure how you manage to pull that magic off, kudos to you because I don't think I could do it. I guess it's because while he's wearing the liarface his underlying and genuine motives tend to come through. She's genuinely touched by how much he cares about her well-being, and although she really can't live in a way that would make him feel at ease, she wants to at least strive to be responsible enough with her well-being that he won't be sad.
.... too bad she already messed up that goal, whups xD;
She'd be very, very upset to know that someone as sweet and good-natured/peace loving as B.E. was abused. WHY ARE ALL OF HER GOOD FRIENDS BEING MADE TO SUFFER?! Of course he's pretty closed off already and I imagine that getting anything like that out of him will be hard...
goals: get him to open up / know him better!

Geez though does he like HSS and Hiryuu is up there. She's basically all the things a person oughta be: kind and spirited and brave and persistent. He does think she'll get hurt because of it. But he doesn't... hm. There's people he expects to see become broken over this place. She's not one of them. He thinks the more this place pushes on her the more she will push back. She has hope where he has none. He expects to be crushed but thinks she's just going to become stronger.
That's not to say he doesn't think she'll like cry or freak out. He does expect that. But he knows that doesn't stop people forever. In a way since he has no hope he's projecting hopefulness and strength on HSS to be the Strong Reliable Ones that he can look to as a proper example of how STRONG COOL HEROES handle things. And with the gift giving and silly costume post-game they already have lived up to that. He couldn't muster the energy to do that sort of thing.
Her cool heroic side aside though: Hiryuu is fun. She's very teasable, he can get reactions from her. But not weak or shy, so it's not bullying of the highest degree. Its a fun game where either of them could win really. He's def aware of her power amping up. And he's a little sad that he can't call her little heroine anymore because it quickly became offensive and condescending to her. HE BLAMES BOSS FOR THIS ENTIRELY due to timing GEEZ BOSS
He's also just extremely owned by the fact that she acknowledges the whole. Alcheme lie child thing going on. And in a way he's ashamed that his fronting is apparently so obvious. And he wants to try harder so it's less apparent. But at the same time even though it feels wrong he's also so grateful that like. There's people like Hiryuu who can realize he needs a hug. Because no matter how much he wants one he CANNOT ask and it's extremely difficult for him to initiate. But boy does he know he needs it.
As time goes on I think the brother-sister sort of relationship will strengthen but also be. Weird. In that as he remembers his actual older sister Ayano that will be a terrible mess of feelings to unravel and work around.
He doesn't think a lot of people in imeeji Care about him in a genuine way. Including some of his team even. But Hiryuu is def someone he thinks does care. She's so good.

BONANA-FANA FO-ONI
FEE FI MO-MONI
ONI!
Okay so having satisfied THAT... bizarre... need in my brain. Hiryuu still doesn't really know much about Oni? Having met him all of three times. It's funny that he's only 24 (wait is he only just 24 or is that just what his profile says) because HE DEFINITELY LOOKS MUCH OLDER THAN THAT TO HER, like, she thinks he's a good... 10 or 15 older than that, haha. Like Sanguine, she's not really sure why he's on BE=DE? Like sure he was talking big after that game when everyone was really hurt, but who wasn't.
What she does know about Oni boils down to
- willing to help bust shit up
- willing to take directions from someone younger than him
- willing to apologize if he's done something wrong
Which really makes him pretty alright in her book and speaks a lot in favor of his temperament and maturity, so she leans toward the side of respecting him. She was kind of surprised that he talked so much trash about her so readily when just the day or so before he'd been talking to her as though he respected her, or at least didn't think poorly of her, so it was kind of like having a door slammed in her face. A rude awakening, if you will. She was serious though about letting it all go. Of course if he hecks up again she will not HESITATE to put him in his place, age difference or not.
She only halfway remembers their conversation that they had while she was loopy from blood loss and shock and will, frankly, be very embarrassed about all of her declarations.... SHE WAS 10000% SINCERE, but like, ohmygod, things that you don't want to be telling people when you're basically... not... in your right mental state? She must have sounded insane, please just... forget all that...

So Hiryuu's relationship with Cable is super interesting to me from an OOC perspective because he is basically the exact opposite of her father. He was pacifistic and peace-loving king really abhored violence and weapons and who never spoke sharply or meanly to anyone (within Yona's hearing anyway) and doted on his daughter and... well... pretty much let people walk all over him? So I look forward to seeing how she feels and what changes he may bring to her as she continues to view him as her father figure / guide here. I also think it's going to make her feel rather... guilty... about how she thought about / talked to / perceived / treated her father even before she knows he died: after all, here she is with a loving dad who oviously loves her and taking for granted that he's, you know, alive and loves her while here's poor cable who has forever lost his daughter....
Which leads me sort of into talking about IC impressions and such. Her first impression of Cable was that while his exterior is quite rough that on the inside he was actually quite soft. Which isn't wrong I don't think but she's also now really starting discover how crude and rough he can be, especially when he's working through his own trauma. Which is legit and she wouldn't blame him for, and I think actually may lead to further reflection upon and softening of her own temperament, if there comes an occasion when she can see/experience his coldness first hand the way Hurricane and Spidey and Mori did after this last game.
Hiryuu has a natural tendency to lead; she was royalty and spent... well. Honestly the manga hasn't explicitly stated how long it's been since she was exiled from the palace to present canon but long enough that her hair's grown back out to her shoulders after having been cropped to her ears. Essentially, she's been living alone and calling the shots for a long time, which means she's actually fairly independent deep down, but she always had other people to help function as guides and suggest things that needed to go when she didn't have a destination or purpose in mind. However, she's still technically a fairly young woman so it only felt natural to her that as soon as she saw that there was a real adult present that she should try to latch onto him as an authority figure and appoint him to be in charge. It's actually a GOOD thing that Cable really wants a more supportive role than to be the real leader because chances are she and Cable would butt heads on some things.
Actually I guess they sort of are already doing that to some degree. Things like "what behaviors are permissible" (can a 16 year old drink? be engaged?; matters of propriety... things like that). I love this stuff, though, it's my jam, and something I've been looking forward to coming up especially because... hm. Canonically! She is! Surrounded by multiple older men who love her quite a bit and several of them are not subtle at it At All. So I look forward to subjecting Cable to those memories and seeing his reactions. (I'm sorry, I'm terrible like that).
Regardless of their many differences, though, Hiryuu really does respect and care a great deal about Cable. She can't imagine how hard it must be for him to be separated from his family (and to know that they're... both dead...) and she wants him to be? Happy? She would have tried talking to D about how overwhelming he's being but Cable sort of preemptively shut that down by calling them meddlesome so she's going to try to make a personal policy of staying out of his affairs from now (romantic and otherwise). She doesn't want to be a burden to him or to any of the rest of the team when she already feels like he/they've seen her at her weakest and lowest. She really appreciates all of the understanding and patience they've afforded her and she doesn't want to abuse that soooo she's going to try to do her best to toughen up; her first major task for herself will be to... get over her intense fear of panels/the dorm/the visual screens... probably by deliberate exposure.
He's actually already shaped her in some ways that will probably become relevant soon. She is going to be reluctant/hesitant without a great deal of prodding to let her castmates know she remembers them unless they happen to see her memories. Seeing how distressed D's pushing made him is going to make him realize that she doesn't want to put anyone else in that kind of situation, where they feel forced to resume a role that they don't understand and their heart may no longer desire. It's also going to give her quite a bit of anxiety and fear, too, that the people she loves/remembers loving may no longer feel/not re-develop those same or similar connections to her... or more importantly even want to, or that they may not see her in the same light. That's not entirely his fault--a low self-esteem will naturally leave her more open to those sorts of fears--but having seen someone she is close to and admires experience it is the wedge that's going to open that up.

Cable is like. A ROUGH DAD the kind that doesn't necessarily realize how big an effect a harsh word can have on a kid. Especially because he keeps a lot better of himself secretive and emotionally guarded. Plus he's from an R rated movie so... I'm sorry Yona he's just so crass.
Interestingly enough, he would've been closer to the leader type Yona imagined if he hadn't been turned away from that line of thinking after the first game. Because his iron clad stance in the beginning was, protect my unit first, no matter what the cost, and that might've led him to wanting the kids to be more militant, like his instinct is to be. Instead he fought that line of thinking because of Deadpool and after seeing the support that came in, and decided that his way wasn't necessarily the best or only way. So he really should be arming his kids with the training to handle tough situations, but let them choose course.
He definitely has the biggest soft spot for Yona though. And in the beginning, because of first impressions, he thought she was softer than she was, but she continually surprises him, and that's always a proud discovery every time. She's turning into a leader who will definitely be totally okay if he dies ;Db
Okay no he knows she'd be super upset. he still gon do it though

So. Her first impressions were that he's a fairly serious individual with his eye on a future goal, and an important one at that. She was impressed and sort of taken in by that charisma, wanted to join forces!! She still wants to join forces but he sort of played himself big time during that meeting. She sees now that he actually has this much softer side to him and is actually fairly squish (getting all bothered by A and fearing that was the end of things, aw). She also knows that he can be an ASSHOLE when he wants to now but she also is kind of of the mindset of "eh, that's fair" because. She also. Can be... a pill.... /kanyeshrug.
We've already discussed in depth that she was hurt / how/ why with all that stuff that happened at the meeting, so that's not really worth rehashing. She is probably going to suggest that another one be called soon so that another attempt at hashing out... how the group as a whole (not each individual unit) wants to try to handle these more gruesome games, and what little new information they've gotten from this last host.
She is not sure how this boy has managed to make himself such a serious threat to the powers that be that he's a state enemy and yet have not considered himself like. In actual serious danger, due process or not. Someone please protect this boy? Does she need to protect this boy? How many boys does she need to protect here, is it all of them? Overall she finds him likable and frankly getting to tease him a little bit was a lot of fun? She may... want to tease him a lot more, I'm so sorry, you've awoken a demon Boss.
Btw, she put in a word with Akira to take it easy on him and to be more careful with what he says. Not that it was probably necessary given they'd already had their talk, but, y'know. Meddlesome and bossy princesses gotta make sure the peace gets kept.
OKAY SO IN RETURN:
Option A: Return blather for our current CR
OR
Option B: What are you hoping for with Hak as a castmate with his castmates? Have you thought out how he'll react to them if he ever does decide to take his memories/treat them as real?
no subject
Anyway, starting with Boss: HE REALLY LIKES HSS AND HE'S STILL VERY MUCH LIKE IN NEED TO PROVE SELF MODE WHEN IT COMES TO WINNING BACK ALLY POINTS! Which is kinda dumb because it's HSS and it's not about winning back points, it's about doing what's right but at the same time, he's already trying his best to do what's right--he just also really wants to be considered a friend of HSS's because in his heart of hearts, he thinks if he weren't a criminal, he'd probably be on that unit.
THAT SAID... first impressions of Hiryuu was definitely of someone who is much stronger than she initially appears. Part of that is because he was the one to stop her from trying to go after the host of the first game, the other part is because of her memory which definitely shows she's got a lot of fighting spirit and willing to risk herself to save someone she apparently cares about (??? right? that was what was going on, right?). Hooooowever, both of those things ALSO enable his viewing her as someone who will risk herself 100% in order to spare others. Which he doesn't necessarily think is a BAD trait, but it is one to be on the watch for, which is why... well. the thing. at the meeting.
We've already gone over the whole why he did the thing / how he felt about it, so skipping that directly for: he was 100% caught off-guard by her just. Accepting the apology at its face. After getting grilled by Mori the way he was, he was thoroughly expecting something similar from someone who IS as fiery and hot-headed as what he's witnessed so far. So it was a surprise! When she just accepted it for what it was. It definitely puts it in his mind firmly that she is a kind and caring person who is going to get hurt a lot in this place, but he does acknowledge she was right in pointing out that they're similar in their hot-headedness and their recklessness, and with that in mind, he can see how Yasuragi drew the parallel between the two of them--and he would be completely for the idea of them working together to figure a way out of this place.
Theeee trauma gaaaameee really fucked Boss up, but his priority was making sure the people were hurt got healed and were taken care of. So the fact that Hiryuu was one of the people hit was difficult to swallow down, because he does see her as someone who can be resilient and strong, but at that moment, she was pretty fragile, hurt, and scared, so he tried his best to be strong instead. Which, of course, makes the whole Boss Is Crashing On Couch Because Fuck Sleep I Guess and HSS going around helping out despite the game kind of encouraging to him and just makes him want to try harder to do better to be flexible about what this place will throw at them. He's not really sure how much of the smiles Hiryuu smiles are real but he does suspect that she's a pretty genuine person who tries her best to look forward in spite of past hurts. So. Encouraging. And something he tries to match.
He's still gonna be CONCERNED about HSS bussing themselves, but it is their decision to make--which is something he learned intimately when BE=DE made the decision to softball during the second round in spite of knowing some people could have had the 9s they kept getting, haha. H-he gets it now.
IN HAK NEWS: Mostly I'm hoping for lots of shenanigans ranging from silly to dramatic because I'm just this person, sorry not sorry YOU GUYS INVITED ME INTO YOUR CAST, YOU KNEW WHAT YOU WERE IN FOR (OR AT LEAST TREE DEFINITELY DID). And I HAVE thought a bit about what might happen and how he'll react to knowing they're his castmates, and have come up with a couple of scenarios!
So basically, if he's told/sees via broadcasted memories that the others know him prior to getting any memories back himself, he'll definitely wonder what the angle is--if the memories are fake, why would the powers that be in this place set themselves up for that kind of hurt? Drama? Seems sadistic and he definitely doesn't approve. So he'll probably try to be resistant at first until he understands that doing so just ends up hurting people even more.
If he takes a memory before understanding that they're castmates and see that they are castmates, he'll probably run into the Jae-ha dilemma of "Is this actually me and how I feel about them or is this stuff fake and I'm being made to care?". Though he'll probably come to the conclusion a lot faster that NOPE. DON'T CARE. IT'S HOW I FEEL. and then bury it because unrequited feelings for years on end HAHAHA HE IS AN EXPERT AT THIS!
But generally, I see him getting along with everyone well enough, he'll just try not to invest too much in the memories until like. he actually understands the effects of remembering them is.
tl;dr sorry not sorry for all this CR happening

Okay sooooo I feel like her impressions of Lucifel are still kind of nebulous? He's such a quiet man and his moods, outside of lives, seem muted. He seems like maybe the most level-headed of his unitmates that she's met, and the most mature--if she had to describe him in a single word, maybe "benign" or "harmless." She thinks he worries too much, but it's clearly out of the goodness of his heart, so she's willing to somewhat humor him, at least to an extent. SHE IS DELIGHTED that someone else wants to learn to cook and her invitation to him was genuine; she would really like it if he would take her up on her offer so she can have more people to practice and learn with. She greatly appreciates his help with healing her injury, and even after she finally does grasp that SensitIV played to the full extent/to win, I'm not sure that she is going to feel very angry or upset about it. I'm not sure that she'll entirely agree with their reasoning, though; healing doesn't undo the psychological damage of the injuries inflicted, so she's probably going to want to have a good long talk with him and his unit at some point.

Veeeeerrry first initial impressions, What a cute, cheerful child, who must be a lot younger than her, what is he doing in a place like this?
It's gradually worked more towards this feeling that. Hm. There's something going on with CB? He talks cute and sweet, and that's his liar facade. He's actually not even remotely that childish and is highly aware of how the way he acts and what he does affects others: putting them off balance, making them freak out, charming them, etc. She has to respect that level of self-awareness and cleverness, and as she's expressed before--she's envious that his act is so solid because sheeee cannot pull that off.
But he's started to show that there is something kind of mean and unpleasant underneath all of that, at least when prodded in the wrong way. Like. She assumed that a lot of the teams were like hers, and were naturally that way, and although the liar team DOES seem to find lying easy, she's also like "but how much of that is an act, what are they really like, underneath that," since the way CB and BE act/talk make it sound like they feel like they can never ever take a break from their stage personas. She still assumes, though, that CB is probably an okay person underneath it all, and that what happened is her fault: that she said something that hit on an issue he has with himself and with this place (resentment, fear, anger) and so he lashed out at her. She doesn't blame him (or even herself too much) but rather this place.
Goal: let her be ur friend, CB, open up, she will help you be less scared!!!
